About YUM

YUM is the Youth Union Movement - a network of young workers.

We work in all sorts of different jobs and come from all sorts of backgrounds. We all have some things we like about work . . . and some things wed like to change. One thing we have in common is that we all want to be treated with respect.

Thats why were union members.

Because when we get together we can be heard, we can make a difference and improve our working conditions. Were involved in YUM because as young workers we have some issues that particularly affect us.

YUM is our voice, its how we have a say.

YUM is also how we let others know that they deserve to be treated with respect, and that by joining us, as union members we can all do something to help make that happen.
